Location: Lion’s Club of OP
May 7th 2013 at 7pm

The Art Guild of Orange Park is proud to award it’s newly named “Courtney Hunt Scholarship” to two very talented local students. Each student will receive $500 of
the $1000 the Guild awards annually since 2004. In addition they will be given gifts
help start their studies as art students - such as a portfolio and other supplies.
The students were chosen after a extensive search that began in September. The
Guilds scholarship committee contacts local guidance counselors and art teachers
early in the school year to schedule presentations through out. Applications from students are accepted until April 1st and then interviews are conducted. Connor Bouchard of Fleming Island High and Samantha Snyder of Oakleaf High were selected due to their fine portfolio of work and their maturity and dedication. Connor will be attending the Savannah College of Art & Design and Samantha will go to Pasco-Hernando Community College. Both will be studying Graphic Art Design
